The reissue of the most controversial and globally recognized jersey in the club's history. In January 2014, in the Clausura Championship, Palestino replaced the traditional "1" on the back with the outline of historical pre-1948 Palestine — debuting the design in a 4-0 thrashing of Everton (Chile). The ANFP banned its use on the field days later, but the gesture generated worldwide repercussions and boosted jersey sales, even to Morocco and Germany.

January 2014 · The Design That Stopped Chilean Football
Conceived by Roberto Abusada, owner of the supplier Training Professional, the jersey debuted in a 4-0 victory over Everton (Chile), with the outline of historical Palestine replacing the number "1" on the back. After a complaint from Ñublense, the ANFP fined the club 30 UF (about US$1,300) — officially because the design exceeded the regulated size allowed for numbers, not for political content — and prohibited its use in official matches. The club even moved the map to the chest and then to the sleeves and socks, always seeking to preserve the symbol within the rules.

The Colors of the Palestinian Flag Since 1953
White base crossed by the characteristic vertical red stripe, flanked by green panels and black details on the sleeves and collar — the combination used by Palestino since 1953, derived directly from the pan-Arab colors of the Palestinian flag. The main sponsor "Bank of Palestine," a club partner since 2009, is stamped in Arabic and English in the center of the chest.
