Right Winger / Left Winger · Home Jersey 2009
Uruguayan forward who played for Nacional, Flamengo, Cagliari, and Inter Milan. Called up to the Uruguayan National Team at just 16 years old by Daniel Passarella, even before his professional debut. He joined Atlante in the second half of 2009 — exactly the year of the Club World Cup in Japan, where Atlante faced Messi and Guardiola's Barcelona.
⚽ Participated in the FIFA Club World Cup 2009
Official Atlante FC 2009 jersey, Home model, with #9 Peralta print. New, with tags, never used. A piece that marks one of the most unexpected moments in Mexican football: the humble Cancun club that went to Japan and faced the best team in the world.
"I debuted for the Uruguayan National Team without having played in the first division. Passarella called me when I was 16 — it was crazy." — El Chino Peralta
Peralta is one of those players whose story is bigger than his titles — undeniable talent, an erratic career, a spell in European football, and a rare presence in Liga MX. His Atlante 2009 jersey is a collector's item that very few own.
Atlante 2009 — Colts in the World
In 2009, Atlante was experiencing a historic moment: having just won the CONCACAF Champions League (2nd edition, against Cruz Azul 2-0 on aggregate), the Cancun club qualified for the FIFA Club World Cup in Japan — and reached the semi-finals.
In the semi-finals, they faced Pep Guardiola, Messi, Xavi, and Iniesta's Barcelona — considered one of the greatest teams of all time. Atlante lost, but finished 3rd in the world, beating Pohang Steelers on penalties (4×3). An unforgettable campaign for Mexican football.
