Colo-Colo is the biggest club in Chile, with over 30 national titles, and its white uniform with maroon details is one of the most recognizable in South America. But few know its connection to Brazilian football: in 1948, director José Haroldo de Castro brought a blue and yellow uniform from Colo-Colo, inspired by Boca Juniors. Colo-Colo liked the design and the club adopted the same shirt as the Buenos Aires team. The name, however, was inspired by Colo-Colo, from Chile — as recorded by Placar magazine. The Colo-Colo shirt, especially in commemorative editions, is one of the most valued items in the Chilean shirt market.
Millonarios de Bogotá (Colombia) — the most elegant club in Colombia
Millonarios de Bogotá uses blue and white vertical stripes that are reminiscent of Inter Milan — and with good reason: the club was founded with European inspiration and in the 1950s even signed Di Stéfano, who would later become a legend at Real Madrid. The blue and white shirt of Millonarios is one of the most beautiful and historic in South America. Puebla (Mexico) — vertical stripes and over a century of history
Club Puebla is one of Mexico's oldest clubs, founded in 1944, and uses a blue and white vertical striped uniform that is immediately distinct in the context of Mexican football. The Puebla shirt has a European visual elegance that few clubs on the American continent can replicate.
